Made for Umrah, not tourists

The things pilgrims from Pakistan actually run into, sorted before you leave home.

Online at the airport

Book your Careem, message the family and open Nusuk before you reach the bus. No hunting for airport Wi-Fi or a SIM counter.

Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah

One eSIM covers the whole trip, including the drive between cities. STC 5G where it's available, 4G everywhere else.

Keep your Pakistani number

Your Jazz, Zong, Telenor or Ufone SIM stays in the phone, so bank OTPs and calls from home still reach you.

Buying for your parents?

Get one eSIM per phone in a single order. If they need a hand installing, we'll do it with them on a WhatsApp video call.

Pick your Umrah plan

Every plan starts when your phone first connects in Saudi Arabia, not when you buy it. So buy early and relax.

Three steps, done at home

Buy before you fly

Pick a plan above. The QR code lands in your email in a couple of minutes.

Install on Wi-Fi at home

Scan the QR from another screen, or open the email on your phone and tap Install. Stuck? WhatsApp us and we'll walk you through it.

Switch on when you land

In Jeddah or Madinah, turn on the Roamr line and Data Roaming for it. You're online before baggage claim.

Does my phone support eSIM?

Open the dialer and type this code. If you see a line called EID, your phone can use eSIM.

The phone also needs to be unlocked (not tied to one network). Not sure? Send us your phone model on WhatsApp.

Keep your Pakistani SIM working

So bank OTPs and calls from home still reach you:

  1. Before you fly, ask your network (Jazz, Zong, Telenor, Ufone) to switch on international roaming, so texts reach you abroad.
  2. In Saudi, keep that SIM on but set Roamr as your mobile data line.
  3. Turn data roaming off for your Pakistani SIM, so it can't use expensive roaming data by mistake.

Umrah eSIM questions

When should I install it?

At home, on Wi-Fi, a few days before you fly. The plan doesn't start until your phone connects to a network in Saudi Arabia, so installing early costs you nothing.

How much data do I need for Umrah?

For WhatsApp, maps, Careem and Nusuk, 5 GB covers most two-week trips. If you video call home every day, take 10 GB. Sharing with family over hotspot? Go for 20 GB.

Does it work in Makkah and Madinah?

Yes. It runs on STC, Saudi Arabia's largest network, with coverage in Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah and on the roads between them.

Can I buy for my parents or my whole group?

Yes. Choose how many eSIMs you need (one per phone) and all the QR codes come to your email. You can install them on their phones before they leave, or we'll help them over a WhatsApp video call.

Can I share data with family (hotspot)?

Yes, hotspot works, so one phone can share with another. The 20 GB plan is the best pick if you plan to share.

What if I run out of data?

Log in to My eSIMs and tap Add data. It goes onto the same eSIM in seconds, with nothing to reinstall. We also email you when you're running low.

Something isn't working. Who do I talk to?

A real person on WhatsApp. Most problems are one setting away from fixed.
